a novice snowboarders paradise 11/14/2007 by: brad leger Beaver Creek is full of great slopes. With the peak of the mountain at 3000 feet above sea level, it offers a variety of challenges. It has mostly real snow, about 70 percent. That makes for some great powder. With a few black diamond slopes, Beaver Creek is a challenge for even the best snowboarder.
