What's not to like?
Posted on 03/29/2013 by: Anonymous

Glade skiing? It's there. Shoots and undulating terrain or wide open bowls? Yep, that too. Deep and steep? Sure. Want a piece all to your self. Snowmass is a big ski resort. You will find it. What's not to like? Well...you probably get all you want. But that is a different story

Snowmass Treehouse
Posted on 01/03/2010 by: Anonymous

The kids "treehouse" is supposed to be a great learing experience. Your kids will be stuckin in basically a 50 by 200 foot area all day. They have to wait at the top of the magica carpet for 5- 10 minutes per run for some Australian or South American "instructor" to guide them down the tiny hill. As far as really learning how to ski, forget it.

Posted on 01/14/2008 by: Anonymous

Heard Great things about Snowmass and will be going there for the 1st time in march. I ski the Northeast and heard that I won't want to go back there after colorado powder! There are places I can ski without ice and frozen granular !

Love it!

Wow! What a place! Just up from trendy Aspen is the familiy friendly resort of Snowmass! We were taken totally by surprise by this resort. The runs are wide and long, and the views just can't be beat! Riding the gondola up is a wonderful way to reach the top of the mountain. Lift tickets may be higher than a lot of other resorts, but when you consider you can ski/ride at 4 mountains, and look at the quality of them, this is excellent value for money. There's a free carpark, met by shuttle buses which take you to the base of the mountain. Friendly people, awesome views and great riding/skiing! Would thoroughly recommend it for all abilities!

Snowmass rules - can't wait to go again!
