I already went snowboarding 4 times this year and we still have not had any snowfall in Connecticut. Not all the trails are open but it is not their fault due to the rain and warm weather we have had. The few trails that are open you can still have a blast on! All we need to do is keep our fingers crossed the weather gets colder and we get some SNOW!!!

After having my grandsons ask for new "fancy" snowboards we went to MT S (as they call it) and had great time. What was great was even though Mt S has had less snow than normal it was plenty for the new snow boards. The boys had a great time and all the children there were behaving fine. Loud and flashy but fine. The moutain has great trails to be able to see them and keep trac of them. All the workers were of great help - but the patrons were the best. A everybody is home here attitude. Suggestion - bring your family, great snow, fair prices, good food, and a wonderfulk time by all. Ed Z

Mt. Southington is great for beginner/intermediate skiers and snowboarders. They have night skiing and a great terrain park! It is the best area in Connecticut.
I have been skiing here for over 10 years!!! Now my kids snowboard here and it is still a lot of fun. All the staff is always helpful. This is a very fun place to take your family even if you only have a couple hours to go.

Mt. Southington is a great way to spend time with friends. Even though the mountain is smaller than most, it is a great ride. All trials are great. The many lifts keep lines down and faster snowboarding and skiing.
