My son experienced his first snowboarding at Pomerelle. We rented supplies right at the Lodge and purchased goggles from a variety that allowed a fitting over his glasses (one size does not fit all). The rental shop quickly processed his needs (we knew nothing) including a helmet. Next the ticket line, which moved a number of people through the line quickly. The mountain was well groomed, the Lodge and facilities clean (even during lunch rush), and the staff was helpful. MANY ski patrol staff were all over the mountain and even the owner was prominently found for conversation and assistance. We felt like we were at home. He is hooked for life and we will be back.

I learned to ski here and have always loved it though I have skied many other places. It can be as easy or as difficult as you want to make it.
