Nice place for a Noob
Posted on 11/30/2011 by: Elaina K Well I'd like to say I had a great time at Blue hills. I am a noob and went for lessons. they didn't make me feel like an idiot for falling a thousand times. I can't wait to go back and fall a thousand more times. There is a little lounge area with decent food. The place did seem to get a bit crowed as the day went on but i guess thats a good thing. it means folks like the place. |

Boston's Ski Area

As the closest ski area to Boston (in Canton MA), and having over 300 vertical feet, Blue Hills is a nice place for local skiers and snowboarders. Snow making allows the hill to be open from mid December through mid March with at least 4 trails. Blue Hills offers a great learning area with 2 magic carpets, a terrain park, and advanced trails. A summit double services all trails and can be crowded at times but night skiing is virtually private on weeknights. Big blue (the main slope) is a great trail that has decent steepness and a lot of room even with the terrain park at the bottom left side. |
