Best budget ski destination by far 01/17/2012 by: J Fisher Went in 2011 with some friends to Jasna. Going again in 2012. Drove from Bratislava. Takes about 3hrs. Stayed in the valley in really nice house found on Trip Advisor. Google 'Trnovec House' to find Chalet 7, Ravence II. Pistes are really well looked after and there's plenty of nice freeride areas. People are really friendly and food and drink is very good and very cheap. Ski passes about a third of Alps prices. Probably the best place for families or groups on a budget. Strongly recommend!
