![]() 12/20/2013 by: Anonymous The improvements to the lifts seemed to help with getting in more runs. Felt those were a good addition. Afraid with now the Epic name prices are just gonna go up. Did not see any real improvements to the actual mountain. Lots of changes to the lodge. Will return but not first choice in the area.

![]() 12/20/2013 by: Dash Brighton is now Epic. Price is still fair but still waiting to see how the investment is going to help. Hill is wide open for everyone to cut across at any point. Really would be good if they put in some trees to "define" a few runs so you are not looking over your shoulder constantly. Terrain park is a little better and the new lifts seem to help but it was not a very busy day. Will definitely go back because it is convienient.

![]() 01/27/2008 by: John I was treated to a day of snowboarding, I didn't pay, so the pricing was great! Really, from the last time I was there I remember the cost for a lift ticket was fair, around $30. The snow was great on January 21st, the best conditions I have had around the Metro Detroit area this season. My two complaints: the easier terrain park run was completely under snow and no effort was made to dig it out, and they kept making snow all day (which made it annoying on the lifts and if you were boarding without goggles - me). But other then that it was a good day on the hill. Lines were not very long and the snow was deep enough you could fall with out killing yourself. Had lunch in the lounge there and it was excellent (pulled pork sandwich and a couple of beers).

![]() 02/27/2007 by: Anonymous First time Skiing at Mount Brighton Last weekend I had my first skiing experience at Mount Brighton, MI. It was a great, fun filled experience with friends. The area is well maintained for different class of skiers. The day began with a light snacks at the restaurant followed by informative lesson of Skiing Basics. Right from how to put on my skies to making turns was taught well to us in just one hour. The experienced and co-operative trainer took care of all of the learners in the group very well. Despite I didn't use the ski life at all, I did explore a lot area skiing through ropes. It is a well maintained and good place to ski at least for beginners. I would recommend this place for all beginners.

![]() 01/26/2007 by: Anonymous we went to the bar area after skiing for a something to eat. Dont expect to get good service, in fact dont expect much at all. Keep in mind we went on a Monday night (NOT CROWDED) if there were people there I could have understood. Waited 10 minutes to get a waitress. Food was ok bar food, but to even get our check we had to go up to the bar and ask for it. Even then we still waited for over 15 mintues to get it. We were in the area maybe an hour and half, seen our waitress twice that whole time. It was bad! Will go to ski again but will go elsewhere for a beer or for a bite to eat.

![]() 11/28/2003 by: Anonymous Great for a day trip for someone pressed for time in the Detriot or Lansing Area. Has one suprisingly challenging double black diamond run, but mostly pointed at beginners or intermediates. Crowded regularly.
