I love Swiss Valley because it was the perfect place for my kids to learn to ski for their first time. I feel it is a safe and fun place to ski. The instructor we had last year for the ski school training was very very good. He made sure to watch each person (adult & child) and see that they were learning. If they were struggling, he helped them by working with them one on one and worked with explaining in more detail to help them. Even after the ski class was over, the instructor went above and beyond and helped my son with some tips when he found him on the slopes trying a snowboard later on in the day. It's also not too far away to travel. We are returning again in 2012, and bringing some friends that are new to skiing and we can't wait!!!

Close enough for day trips. A bit pricey to go too often.

Non skiiers can watch from the lodge and see the skiiers while enjoying the fire. There are tables so the group can bring in snacks and hot chocolate to keep the kids going. We usually have between 13 and 20 in our group and look forward to our weekly trip to the slopes!
