Paoli Peaks allows people living in the Greater Louisville Area an option to ski locally without driving for hours. They always have friendly employees and the slopes are well maintained. Great family fun!

This is the best skiing and snowboarding in Indiana. It is great for everyone ranging from the beginner to the expert. Beginners have to areas designated in which to practice. The first area has a magic carpet to take you back to the top. When you master that, you can move to the bunny hill with a lift, then master that. Novice and experts can stay busy all day with runs ranging from easy to black diamonds. There is also a great snowboard park with all kinds of obstacles and jumps that will test your skills. Paoli Peaks is a great way to spend a day in southern Indiana. The staff is great and the skiing is a lot of fun.

Great place for beginners

Paoli Peaks has been around for a long time, I remember going as a child. But until I went recently, I hadn't realized how improved and nice it is. It's really great for anyone starting out skiing because there is a bunny slope area and a kids' slope area, both very good for starters, and free lessons with all lift ticket purchases. The lessons are great, one hour with a group of about 10 or less other new skiiers, and the instructors are super. There are always several instructors hanging around the beginner areas, so you can always ski right up to one and ask questions. The lodge is nice, nothing spectacular. Rental is convenient and easy. Food is average and pricey. Parking and location are good. I recommend to anyone!
