100% Fresh! 03/12/2015 by: Charlie Yesterday was my first visit to Elk. The conditions were spectacular. We hardly waited for more than a minute in a lift line. Staff was friendly. Moguls, glades, terrain park were all good. PA at its best for sure!

Greatest skiing around 12/19/2013 by: karen cordivari I loved skiing at Elk Mountain. I've been to Vermont and Elk is as close as it gets to Vermont for me. The skiing was great, the weather beautiful and the trails are lovely. I can't wait to go again. Well worth the ride and the $.

Great skiing 01/06/2012 by: Karen Overall this is one of the best ski mountains in the Northeast. They always have plenty of trails open. They have a lot of green ( beginner ) trails which I love and they are long and wrap around the mountain.

Big Little Mountain 12/28/2011 by: Anonymous Elk is the greatest Big little mountain - it gives you the big mountain experience with a small town, friendly feel. Family happy place, but also great for singles and has a great apres-ski feel, too.

Exciting Adventures Await You at Elk Mountain Ski Resort 12/19/2011 by: Ally Goras Elk Mountain is a fantastic place to go for skiing and snowboarding. The slopes are always well groomed. An exciting attraction here, is the terrain park. the terrain park is filled with plenty of challenging ramps and jumps. There are a lot of different trails to go through and i always look forward to finding new adventures every time i go. Another thing that is good, is the food. The restaurant had great food and drinks. these are some of the things I like the most at Elk Mountain.

Great day of skiing 01/24/2011 by: Anonymous Great skiing conditions with very short lift lines. Conditions ranged from deep powder to icy spots on the same trails. Windy on top of slopes to sunny conditions on the bottom by the lodge. Would recommend Elk Mountain for anyone looking for great day skiing. No waiting for parking lot shuttle.

Great Skiing 01/04/2010 by: Rick Bitler There on 1/2/10. 60% open, but everything was very good conditions. Groomed, fast and uncrowded. Snow making on unopened trails, cold & windy. The tree cover really helps, especially on the lift. Great place to go!

beyond cold 01/17/2009 by: vinny went skiing with a large group on friday jan 16th. Temperature was a BONE CHILLING sub zero, but thank dog the sun was shining brightly and there was NO wind. Surface was packed powder/HARD PACK making for one of the FASTEST surfaces I have ever skied. As the early afternoon sun dipped lighting got a bit tricky. We did have the mountain pretty much to ourselves with zero wait at the lifts throughout the day, thanks, I am sure to the ridiculously cold temps. My ONLY big issue with the mountain Friday was there was ONLY ONE BUMP RUN! #10 TUNKHANNOCK, was the ONLY place to find moguls. I wish that when they groom the trails, that they leave a side UNGROOMED for the bump skiers to "play". ELK Rocks though, and is a great GEM for PA skiers.

Excellent skiing a great day 01/10/2009 by: Anonymous Excellent day of skiing. Lift line waits less than two minutes. Lodge only crowded during lunch hours. No crowds on slopes. Skiers dominated the snow boarders. Few people on the terrain parks. Nice long runs from top of hill to bottom by lodge. Some icy patches on upper part of hill, lower side all packed powder. Shuttle from parking lot to lodge running consistently during the day. Less than one minute wait for shuttle in the morning and at end of day. Only drawback, slow chair lifts.

Beautiful Elk 02/05/2007 by: Tom Quinlan Saturday(2/1) was agreat day at Elk.The bitter temps had not quite arrived yet. The coverage was great. They were blowing snow on the 3 unopened trails. The lift lines moved quickly and I was only a little cold on the lift. We ate in the restaurant and the food and service were very good. I highly recommend this mountain.Skiing Elk is the closest anyone will get to skiing in Vermont without actually being in Vermont.
