Bigger is Better

Big Sky is incomparable ... Especially when considered with neighboring Moonlight Basin. Incredible light dry fluffy powder, amazing views of soaring mountain peaks, high speed lifts, no lift lines (except for the tram), enough runs to last a week, great tree skiing, long thigh-burning cruisers, jaw-dropping steeps, Lone Peak! This place is incredible!

Greatest place to ski
Posted on 12/24/2012 by: Anonymous

Huge, wide runs, uncrowded, well-maintained. Lots of snow. Beautiful place. I even got to try out the ski patrol--broke my ankle on the slopes and they carted me off. The broken ankle was awful, but the ski patrol was kind and efficient. I am going back!

Big Sky is the best! Big Sky's huge variety of terrain offers more tree skiing, powder skiing, blue cruisers, cliffs, powder stashes then any other area I've ever skied! The snow quality has always been great and everytime I've ever skied there there has been at least one blue bird powder day!! Maybe I just luck out.

A-mazing Mountain
Posted on 11/28/2008 by: Anonymous

I guess that I am a little biased in reviewing this mountain because this is the only western resort I have been to before. I am from the east coast, so coming to Montana and Trying on Big Sky was a whole new adventure that stays with me in my dreams. All powder all the time, snows a lot, and has great slopes. The food was delish, the customer service was great- we had a personal instructor who was really nice and I loved that he helped us so much with such a big smile on his face. I cant compare it to other western resorts, but I though this was the best snowboard adventure ever!
