Usually lines are not long. Snow is great! Not many people know how great of a ski area Los Alamos is, but that is the beauty of it! And their prices are great!

I will be coming back to this mountain!
Posted on 01/11/2009 by: Anonymous

This was my first time to Pajarito and my group had a blast. Pajarito is about a 40 minute drive from Santa Fe and since Santa Fe is always so packed with people I expected that Pajarito would be as well. Surprisingly, they weren't! My group boarded and skied all over the mountain and never had to wait more than three or four chairs to get on the lifts. There were plenty of groomed trails but we were looking for powder and trees. We found several runs of powder that were awesome. There was a section to the far left of the mountain while looking up from the base that had fallen trees and stumps that was a blast to maneueve through. We will be back, especially if there is fresh snow!!
