Great but warm weather 02/04/2015 by: Chris This place would get a 5 for snowboarding. But it was hot and sluchy. The lifts are a bit slow. Over all had fun as always.

Very packed. Icy! 01/02/2014 by: Chris This place is a great place to go. The staff at the lifts where not keeping order. People cutting in line. Also slick icy spots along with very low snow cover. Poor signage some runs are not board friendly had to walk do to a level ground. It's great just go where the snow is.

To Santa Fe Ski Area again 01/25/2011 by: John R. DiMiceli We, a bunch of us are going back to Santa Fe to ski this weekend. It has some of the best groomed trails and beautiful vistas I've ever experienced. It seems that all the others are just as excited to get there this weekend. Most of us are east coast skiiers. I learned and skiied Gore, Whiteface, Hunter and a lot of those NY ski areas. The Poconoes isn't really skiing, never was. But to stand on the top of Santa Fe and look west is special you can almost see California and if you went straight down you'd have enough power to reach it. Santa Fe is close enough for us in Rio Rancho to call it a day trip or stay over. Dinners in town are always special and great. So, we're going skiing ! We're going skiing ! Skiing in Santa Fe ! Sounds like a song

Santa Fe is so comfortable to ski 12/11/2009 by: John R. Di. I have skiied Santa Fe and will always appreciate the wide and scenic views from all runs. The groomed slopes were excellent and the runs were from comfortable to exciting. Even the ski patrol proved to be excellent on my toboggan ride to the base. [broken boot]. My only passive comment is that this east coast skiier is used to a safety bar on the lift chairs. It made the ride to the top more exciting [not a good thing] than the skiing down the mountain. With safety bars this would be a perfect adventure.

Great Place 11/05/2009 by: Sean Went there right before last x-mas. They got about a foot and a half two days before I went and the conditions couldn't have been better. Pretty good place for beginners as well as advanced skiers and boarders. If you can though go during the week to avoid the crowds.
