Not bad 02/05/2011 by: Anonymous I broke one of my snowboarding straps when I was at this resort. The guy at the ski shop who worked on my board fixed it quickly and for free. I've been to other places that charge between 8-12 bucks for a new strap. So it was really cool for him to fix it quickly and for free to get me back out. Other than that, this mountain is pretty big. Nice wide trails. Only downfall? On some of the trails they should have some jumps or something. It is just usually a nice trip all the way to the bottom. Trails are so wide - would be nice to have some medium size jumps or something to make it more interesting.

Peek'N Peak 12/28/2010 by: Anonymous Great resort for beginners or for a casual getaway. There are a limited number of trails, most very easy to navigate which makes this a great starter track. AS far as the resort itself goes, it is well worth the price. The resort and lodge are great, as is the food and bar. I would definitely recommend going. Like i said, if your just looking for a casual getaway definitely give peek'n peak a try!

Awsome Time 12/08/2010 by: Travis My family and I go every year and its always a blast. They have awsome terrian parks if your into that. Always have snow and bars are great too. I would recommended going here if your planning a weekend getaway. The hotel to the houses will offer you deals if you stay for a certain time period and sometimes offer free lift tickets.

average for the area 03/19/2010 by: zach if your local than this place is alright, however if your driving to get here, then you should keep going to holiday valley. Holiday valley is rated #3 in the northeast and is an hour drive from peek n peak. I have skii'd the valley and the peek and holiday valley is even cheaper than the peek and has 56 runs! it is an ok place but its runs are way to short and not worth the extra cash.

2 easy 02/07/2010 by: Anonymous If you ask me, peek'n peak is the easiest resort I have ever seen. It is good for beginners, but if you want something advanced don't go. The black diamonds are like bunny hills

Nice for the area 12/30/2009 by: Anonymous Went out the week before Christmas. Not too crowded. All the lifts/runs were open and Great conditions! The Cross Bow was our favorite run. We shredded it up!! The resort is small and the runs are short compared to anywhere farther north, but for the area it's the best you'll get. All in all we had a great day.

Great for families 12/07/2009 by: Rick Lytle Great place to take your family. It is big enough to challenge you yet small enough that the kids can go off on their own and you can find them quickly. The kids love the pool at night and it is nice to back and relax in the hot tub with a beverage and sit back and relax.

Great place to ski 01/17/2009 by: Anonymous This is a nice place to ski, especially for the family. If you haven't ski a lot, this is a good next step too. It's reasonable, not usually crowded and a very quick trip from North East Ohio (where there aren't a lot of Mountains.

Good for beginners and families with children 12/26/2008 by: Anonymous We skied her for a weekend day in early December 2008. The mountain is very small vertically. The slopes take less than a minute or two to ski from top to bottom. I don't know what criteria they use to establish the green, blue, and black slopes....I guess it's relative to the the most difficult slope on the mountain?? The black diamonds are no where near typical black diamond status...closer to an easy intermediate. There were no lift lines and we skied on a Saturday. The conditions were decent for early in the season. If short trails don't bother you, then this mountain will meet your needs. We did not eat at the lodge, but we did stay at the Inn at the Peek. Lots of kids running around, some unsupervised. Great indoor play area, indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and a nice fitness room. The rooms are a little outdated, but adequate. Two star range.

Excellent Value 12/6/08 12/07/2008 by: Don French The Christmas at the Peak deal of purchasing 2 all-day lift tickets for $37 each and getting a free night of lodging at the Inn before Dec 24th can't be beat. Snow conditions right now are like mid-January with plenty of coverage and only the end runs (such as by the Retreat Lodge and Pizzaiolo's) not open. Nightly live entertainment in the lounge at the Inn was excellent; good dancing music. Breakfast in the Royal Court Dining Room was reasonably priced and well-prepared. Upcoming deals include $9 off lift tickets Jan 5th-14th and special learn to ski discounts Jan 10th. Midweek Madness adult tickets this year are $30 9:30AM-4:30PM; a super value but be sure to ask because the deal is probably intentionally not well-published. Only complaint - no reservations/lift tickets can be puchased on the web, creating some confusion when you arrive; they need to streamline this so that you actually get the deal you seek when you arrive.

Secretly Discounted Tickets May Be Available! 11/25/2008 by: Don French Not sure if Peek'n Peak is doing it again this year, but in years past, when you walk up to the ticket window and ask for the special 9:30AM to 4:00PM weekday "unadvertised" special, you'll save about 25-33% off the regular adult day ticket price. I was a former condo owner here and we got some good discounts but . . . they rarely were as good as this one. Weekdays only; not good on holidays. Just ask at the ticket window; it may not be published. Also, in the past the receipts you receive from Wegman's grocery stores sometimes had discounts printed on the back of the receipts. So stop in Erie on your way there, grab some sancks and drinks and take a chance! And don't forget to eat at the French Creek Tavern about 2 miles outside the resort on your way home - it's great bar food and most of the locals get there by snowmobile so you'll find spots in the parking lot for your car!

Great kick off to ski season! 01/23/2007 by: Laurie Perkins We had the pleasure of being at Peek n Peak last Saturday. The slopes were nicely groomed and lift lines weren't too bad considering all the people there that day. We will be back soon!
