Great Skiing, Cozy Lodge, Great Dun for Everyone!

I love the various levels of challenge provided at this resort. From the bunny slope which is awesome for beginners to more challenging trails for those who are interested. It's a great place to spend the day on the mountain or in the lodge.

SnowBird Blue Trails.
Posted on 10/30/2007 by: Anonymous

Well I have skiing for a while. I consider myself a good skier and have skied at 19+ different and mountains. My age is 57 and I want to say that anyone going to Snowbird to ski had better be a double black diamond skier at most any other resort. The blues at this resort are mainly trails that go back and forth across the mountain. with a few exceptions. It was the hardest mountain that I had skied on due to the degree of slope. There blacks would be minimum double black diamond anywhere else. It is beautiful place to go. I just want you to know that if you are looking for long wide blues slopes. Don't expect to find them here. We were so worn out the first day that we had trouble skiing the second and third days. For me I don't like to work that hard to ski. I like to glide down the mountain with a good amount of speed. Snowbird has been my least favorite mountain for skiing blues. For those of you that love blacks, this is your kind of place.
