Small area made smaller by not running the T-bar
Posted on 01/03/2013 by: Anonymous

Skied here once before last year and again on 12/30/12 as part of a 5 area "tour" of resorts in MN and WI. The area has nice family feel, and despite its small size it offers a wide variety of terrain including cliffs you can huck off of if you're crazy enough to do it. The snow coverage and conditions were excellent on the runs that were open so there really was no excuse for not having the T-bar and the runs that only it serves open as well. They weren't even making snow on them! Without it, you're left with only ONE chair serving the entire area. Terrain parks are pretty modest and on farily flat slopes. Fortunately, crowds weren't an issue, but it's easy to get bored pretty quickly.
