Ski Cooper Terrain

Four hundred acres of all natural powder. Another 2,640 acres served by backcountry tour cat. Incredible views and incredible powder.

You can access up to 2,000' of vertical drop by snowcat on Chicago Ridge, and up to 1,200' lift served.

Our 35 trails provide variety for everyone. Ski Cooper is home to some of the country's very best beginner and learning terrain, especially with our new 750' long Magic Carpet (the longest in the state!). Intermediates will love our wide-open, smoothly groomed cruisers, and our half groomed/half mogul runs for expanding their horizons. Experts will get a thrill in our mogul lines, in the trees, and ripping the powder. The adventurous will never forget the experience of snowcat skiing on Chicago Ridge.

What's New This Season at Ski Cooper

We have completed a major renovation of our rental shop to make the process faster and smoother for you, our guest. We want you to spend more time skiing, and less time waiting! New computer sign-in in the rental shop will help streamline the process, and an improved guest flow will keep you moving and get you skiing sooner.

The Snowflake Retail shop has been moved to the rental shop, providing a seamless experience for renting your skis, and buying the gear (gloves, hats, handwarmers, gifts, and LOTS more!) you need for a fun and memorable trip to Ski Cooper.

The T-Bar Lounge in the base lodge has moved to the old retail shop space, providing a much larger bar space, and opening up additional seating.

The kitchen has been reconfigured this season for better flow, meaning you get the food you want more efficiently!

Our IT infrastructure has been upgraded, and while most of the changes are internal, we hope to provide public WiFi in the lodge this season.
