Sunshine Village is located 8 km (5 miles) west of the town of Banff and with the best snow in the Canadian Rockies - almost three times the amount of natural snowfall as our major competitor, Sunshine Village skiers and boarders always have a better opportunity to enjoy fresh powder snow. On average, Sunshine Village receives 33 feet of soft natural snow per year. With so much natural snow, Sunshine Village has no need for artificial, man-made snow.

Smoke Houses, Creperies and Vietnamese Delicacies
Sunshine Village is expanding and improving their food and beverage services to ensure the culinary need of every guest is met. The addition of a smoke house to Mad Trapper’s Saloon will expand Sunshine Village’s signature dishes, while the introduction of a Vietnamese Pho café in the Daylodge will provide a fresh, hot and healthy alternative. Look out for a very European creperie also appearing for the season!
