Arapahoe Basin Terrain

Arapahoe Basin boasts some of North America's highest skiable terrain and Colorado's longest ski season (October to June). Our high-alpine environment is incredibly diverse, allowing guests to charge groomed cruisers from summit to base area, play in the wide-open bowl skiing of Montezuma on the back side, or challenge themselves on the incomparable steeps, trees and bumps of Pallavicini and the East Wall. Our High Divide and Treeline terrain parks allow freeskiers to progress in their skills. The combination of scenic terrain and a laid-back vibe have earned us the title "The Legend."

What's New This Season at Arapahoe Basin

Our big capital improvement this season is the A-Basin Kids Snowsports Center. This $2.3 million, 7000-square foot building will be between the Black Mountain Express lift and the Rental Shop. The new Kids Center will be home to kids’ snowsports lesson and program check-in, kids’ ski and snowboard rentals, and a snowsports dining area, as well as the A-Basin Ski Patrol First Aid Room. In keeping with our Golden Eagle Award-winning sustainability program, the building will be partially solar powered. The building is slated to be completed in spring of 2015. Kids Ski Free at Arapahoe Basin from November 30-December 19, 2014 (ages 14 and under). No strings attached, no purchase required. Just bring your kid to the ticket window to receive their free lift ticket, and get out there and shred!
