Champery - Portes du Soleil Terrain
The cable car Champéry – Planachaux (125 passengers) and the 6 seater chairlift in Grand-Paradis transport you in 5 minutes directly to the Portes du Soleil domain at 2000 meters altitude. With 194 ski lifts and over 650 km of ski slopes, this is the largest internationally connected skiing region in the world. No matter what your interest numerous other activities are also catered for cross-country skiing, winter walks, paragliding or snowshoe walks, there is an activity for everybody. After an eventful day there is nothing better than a fondue and glass of white wine in one of the many traditional restaurants of Champéry. A snowpark with quarter, pipe, gap, jumps, lines, boxes, border cross, spine, rainbow, rails, hips, walls, hoops, tables and kicks is located in Les Crosets. The structures, adapted to freestylers requirements are well-kept during the whole winter season. Contest and demonstrations are organized.
