Whitefish Mountain Resort Terrain
Whitefish Mountain Resort is a family-friendly resort for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels. Located in the Rocky Mountains of Northwest Montana, it’s famous for its history, snow-ghosts, vast terrain, unsurpassed views of Glacier National Park and the Canadian Rockies, and a laid-back, friendly environment.While Whitefish offers wide open spaces, abundant snow, and short lift lines, it’s also surprisingly easy to get to. Whitefish has an Amtrak depot and the resort is only 19 miles north of Glacier International Airport in Kalispell, MT.

What's New This Season at Whitefish Mountain Resort
Phase one of a two phase project will be completed in time for the 2013/2014 Winter Season. This fall the resort cut four new groomable intermediate runs and two connector runs for a total of approximately 32 acres. Guests will be able to access three of the four main runs and one connector run via the existing Big Foot T-Bar. A new lift will be added during the summer of 2014 to enable access to the entire area which is approximately 200 acres. The project is expected to be complete in time for the 2014/2015 Winter Season. Also new: Snowboarding lessons for 3-6 year olds and expansion of the Base Lodge.Information last updated 11/03/2014.
