Hovden Terrain
If you visit Hovden during the winter, you are practically guaranteed snow. In addition, the Ski Centre has well developed snow cannon facilities which provide the foundation for a long winter with excellent slope conditions.It is easy to find one's way around the ski centre, and it is well adapted for the entire family. Tusseland is the children's area. The slopes are gentle, there are numerous activities for children and a separate lounge.
The terrain park is the place for those of you who are somewhat more advanced and would like to explore your acrobatic skills. A piste of 1250 meters has been adapted with various rails and jumps for snowboarders and skiers alike. In addition to the well groomed open pistes, you will find numerous forest tracks where you can put your skiing skills to the test.

What's New This Season at Hovden
In the middle of December, seven new slopes will open along with two new lifts in Hovden Skisenter. With these new lifts and slopes, we open up the side of the mountain called Breive. At the top there will be brilliant gentle new trails for beginners, while the trails from the top of the Breive express will be red, green and blue, so everyone can find a slope that suits them. The longest new slope is 2000 metres. The new area is linked to the existing areas at both the top and the bottom and the lift capasity will increase by 60 %.Information last updated 11/16/2009.
