Mont Ripley is located in the scenic Houghton/Hancock area in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Mont Ripley overlooks Portage Lake and the lift bridge. The hill has 24 runs that will challenge all types of skiers and snowboarders. We have tons of jumps and two terrain parks serviced by two chair lifts and a t-bar. With 250 inches of snow per year, there is a variety of both deep powder and well-groomed trails.

What's New This Season at Mont Ripley
The new Copper Hoist double chair lift was installed recently, along with the Copper Chute Glade just to the West of the top of the new chair. We also doubled our snowmaking capacity to help combat any future El Nino weather.
