What's New This Season at Attitash
Attitash Mountain Resort’s off-season capital improvement projects have exceeded initial plans announced last spring and will significantly increase the efficiency and output of its snowmaking system for the coming 2014/15 winter season. A majority of the improvements have been made on Bear Peak, including Morning Star, Snowdancer, Wandering Skis, Kachina, Avenger, Moonbeam, Trillium and Myth Maker trails, as well as the Abenaki Terrain Park. The project included the installation of new snowmaking water and air pipes, rebuilding of pumps and motors and the installation of a combination of 285 new, high-efficiency, low-energy HKD and Snow Logic brand snow guns, 179 more guns than originally planned. These new state-of-the-art guns will dramatically improve the ability to produce greater amounts of snow while increasing the efficiency of the snowmaking system.Information last updated 11/03/2014.
