Magic Mountain Terrain

Skiing and riding Magic is like a step back in time before corporate resorts took over and piled more skiers on trails with high-speed lifts and then tried to widen trails to accomodate them. Magic has kept an approach that harkens back to the heyday of skiing in the 1960s. Trails are windy and narrow; the crowds on the slopes and at the lifts are minimal; advanced trails are not groomed on Powder Days; and there are hundreds of acres of tree-skiing and riding to explore. Magic has expanded snowmaking capacity for the 2013-14 season and has purchased new highly effiicient HKD mobile tower guns. So expect more snowmaking than ever before with the expert grooming to make the trails last until April.
