Spread across three mountain faces, Sun Peaks is an award-winning four season destination resort with some of the most expansive terrain in Canada. Sun Peaks is the second largest skiable area in British Columbia with 3678 acres. Ski Lessons

Whether you're just learning to ski or snowboard, or want to brush up on your technique, head to the Sun Peaks Sports School to sign up for a lesson from one of our experts. New this season at Sun Peaks, sign up for a Ski and Board Terrain Park Clinic. Clinics will take place December 20-21, February 7-8, and March 16-20.

To give your lesson an Olympic feel...take a private session with Olympic Gold Medalist and Sun Peaks Director of Skiing Nancy Greene.

Ski Racing Programs

Sun Peaks is the official North American training centre for the Austrian National Ski Team. Once the Austrians finish their early season training, the Nancy Greene International Race Centre is used for multiple races, including the TELUS Nancy Greene Corporate Challenge, the Canadian Masters Alpine Championship and the Para-Alpine Canadian Championships.

Improvements This Season

Bridge Gate Skiers Bridge - A new half million dollar skier and rider bridge has been constructed providing East Village property owners improved and convenient ski-in access to their homes.

Dining

Extensive dining options include fine dining, family friendly restaurants and pubs or stop at one of the many cafes and delis scattered throughout the village.

Bars and Nightlife

Experience the nightlife at Bottom's Bar and Grill. Grab a pint and chat with the locals, then head to MackDaddy's to dance the night away.

Lodging, Hotels, and Condos

A variety of high quality accommodation options surround the picturesque ski-through village in the heart of Sun Peaks Resort. Stay at one of nine hotels, or try a condo or chalet with ski-in/ski-out access.

Other Recreation Nearby

Skiing and snowboarding not for everyone in your family? Try another winter activity. Mush your own dogsled, snowshoe through the alpine, ice skate under the stars or snowmobile at McGillivray Lake.
