About Canterbury Farm
Our trails are groomed for diagonal striding and skate skiing. We have a variety of beginner to advanced trails. Our lesson loop is easy for beginners to learn skiing, skating or ice skating from our experienced instructors. Most trails are in the woods along beaver ponds and old forest trees. You can ski to a lake when weather permits. There is a special snow shoe only trail that follows a brook to a large beaver pond. All of our trails reach a lookout point where Mt Greylock (tallest in Massachusetts) can be seen. With a northern exposure at an elevation of 1700 feet, we often have snow when the valley area does not. Our 22 kilometers of machine groomed and tracked ski trails are groomed every day providing you with the best conditions possible. A complete ski , ice skate and snow shoe rental shop has top of the line equipment. Inside the lodge, The Berkshire Room has a light fare of assorted wraps, chili, home made soups, hot and cold drinks, and snacks in a cozy historic lodge. We do have bed and breakfast rooms available for overnight accommodations with skiing and a full breakfast included. Sit by the fire and enjoy the piano playing of Dave Bacon on special nights.

Canterbury Farm Tickets - More Info
Our ticket prices for trail use have stayed the same this year! For one rental price you are able to exchange between cross country skis, snow shoe , and ice skating rentals. A season pass is $140 per person and includes year round trail use. Ski Packages includes rental of all three snow sport equipment , trail fee and group lesson for $55. Group lesson $25 and private/semi private $40 are sold separately. . Half day ticket pricing starts at 2:00.

Snow shoes, Ice skates and Ski rentals are new and are of high quality. All equipment can be interchanged for one rental price. Skate outdoors on a maintained skating pond, snow shoe on back woods paths, or ski on groomed and tracked trails, all for one price. Lodging on the property with three bed and breakfast guest rooms includes the daily trail fee and a full breakfast. Great place for groups of 6 or more and we have special rates for groups. Cross Country Skiing Lessons at Canterbury Farm
Lessons are at 10:00, 12:00, and 2:00 on Holidays. A more flexible schedule is possible at other times if you call ahead. Reservations are requested.

New Sun Deck constructed this year where you can watch the skiers and ice skaters glide by. New Ski equipment purchased this year. A Ginzu groomer is the top of the line system for cross country trail grooming machinery.

Inside the 200 year old New England home enjoy warm and cold non alcoholic beverages, homemade soups, chili, sandwiches and snacks. Enjoy the historic ambiance from this cozy warming and dining room. Or on warmer days, enjoy the Sun Deck with mountain views as you watch the ice skaters and skiers glide by.

The Dream Away Lodge 3 minutes away serves gourmet food and talented musicians on weekends. During the winter but especially in the summer, the Berkshires come alive with concerts, dance, art, and activities in the quiet natural setting of small rural communities.
Canterbury Farm Lodging, Hotels, and Condos
We have three B and B guest rooms at Canterbury Farm available for lodging. Each room has a private bath and includes a full breakfast and trail use. A cozy den with a fireplace and dining room in our historic lodge provides modern comforts (wifi) with historic New England charm. Lee has more of a selection of hotels and B and B's and is 15 minutes away.

Four Downhill ski areas within 30 miles. Five lakes within 2 miles for kayaking, boating, fishing and swimming during the summer. Winter ice skating and ice fishing opportunities.
