At 9600 feet, with over 300 days of sunshine and an average of 300 inches of snowfall per year, Breckenridge is the Perfect Mountain Town.
New last year, the perfect mountain town got a little more perfect with the addition of 150 acres of above tree line expert terrain. In December 2005, Breckenridge Ski Resort added the Imperial Express SuperChair, the highest chairlift in North America, reaching 12,840 feet.

What's New This Season at Breckenridge
Breckenridge unveils new base at Peak 7, providing easy mountain access and high-end lodging
This season, Breckenridge Ski Resort opens its first base area since the development of Peak 9 in 1971. Complete with high-end lodging at the new Crystal Peak Lodge, skier services including ski school, ticket sales and rentals, and new sit-down dining experience at Sevens, the new Peak 7 base area will introduce visitors to a new level of luxury and service in Breckenridge.
