 Cataloochee is the home of Great Skiing in the Great Smokies! 35 miles west of Asheville, we offer dependable 100% snowmaking, 17 lighted slopes, 5 lifts including our two moving carpet lifts, over 4,000 sets of shaped ski and snowboard rentals with PSIA member school instruction, and 6 lanes of snowtubing fun in Maggie Valley! Thanksgiving - mid-March, easy access via I-40.
