About Wolf Ridge Ski Resort
Wolf Ridge has been rated the best Ski Resort in Western North Carolina by Asheville Citizen Times and Mountain Xpress. We are North Carolina's most accessible ski resort, just 5 miles from I-26 off Exit 3. Our two ski lodges have ample room to prepare to hit the slopes or to relax after an exhilarating day of skiing. With comfortable tables, large viewing windows and multiple fireplaces, the lodge is a perfect place to watch all the ski activities.
The Sport Shop offers a variety of skiing accessories as well as all types of souvenirs. The two on-site Rental Shops have all the equipment you need for a great day of skiing. We rent quality shaped skis, snowboards, ski bibs and helmets to help make your trip more enjoyable. Ski slope lodging also available.

This place smells like a sewer...the employees are your typical mountain area type of folks but I find it very unprofessional to have 15 yr olds smoking cigarettes and napping while operating ski lifts. The grooming at the u...More |

Close to Charlotte...Great Price and no crowds! :)
Great for beginners and intermediates...not much for the daredevil black diamond skiers though (which is okay for me because they scare me). Great value...and close enough to drive up and ski same day from Charlotte area. W...More |

This year we will offer an improved terrain park as well as a new Snow Tubing and Zip Line facility, located just outside the resort.
