About Holiday Valley
Holiday Valley is the largest resort in the Western New York region. The great variety of slopes, spectacular base lodges, slopeside lodging and the fun-loving Village of Ellicottville combine to give Holiday Valley a big mountain feel in a nice neat package close to Buffalo, Toronto, Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh and Rochester. Holiday Valley offers a great variety of terrain, with plenty of options for all abilities including the super-steep Wall run, several bump runs, glades as well as a great beginner area. Nationally recognized children's program is available starting at age 3. On-site day care. Holiday Valley first opened in 1958 with one lift and 3 slopes and has been growing ever since. The atmosphere is friendly with plenty of terrain and activities for all kinds of skiers and riders including families, singles, seniors, teens and freeriders.

Great for families at night!
Not crowded at nights. You have the slopes to yourself. Great shuttle between lodges for all, including tired little legs! Beginner hill has a real lift for practice, plus you don't get tired on the toe lift ( there is on...More |

What's New This Season at Holiday Valley
$13.5 million in improvements for 2012-13 season featuring the new $12 million, 66,000 square foot Holiday Valley Base Lodge with food service, stone hearth pizzo oven, 2 bars, coffee shop/deli, rental shop, repair shop, snowsports school desk, Day Care, picnic areas, conference rooms, outdoor decks and a great view. Other improvements include automated snowmaking on 3 major slopes, widening and increased snowmaking on our boardercross course slope.
