Royal Mountain Reviews

I am a newbie to snowboarding, only my second time on the mountain so Royal seemed to be the best place to start. They have plenty of snow and its not very crowded and there are no lines by the lift. One of the snowboard instructors "Don" saw that I was having problems, he gave me a FREE lesson that really improved my technique!! I plan to go up to royal again this coming weekend for some more fun on the slope.

I was up at Royal Mounatain yesterday snowboarding for the first time. The trails were in good conditions. We have not had much snow so the slopes were a bit icy but overall really nice. Its not overly packed and you have plenty of room to ski or snowboard, just me I need plenty of room the way I snowboard...

The lodge s great, the food is excellent and the prices aren't bad.

I'd recommend anyone to go to royal, its a lot of fun for all age groups of people... The rentals are at reasonable rates as well, not like Gore where your going to spend an arm and a leg for lift tickets and rentals.
