Catamount Terrain

It’s all about the skiing and riding here at Catamount. The mountain offers 1,000’ feet of vertical descent and the most diverse terrain mix in the Berkshires. We have a fabulous beginner area – a super-gentle slope served by an easy-to-ride Wonder Carpet lift. Together with the 6 beginner trails in the Meadows area plus others, Catamount has the most green circle terrain in the Berkshires. Catamount also offers fabulous cruising terrain – including the wildly popular Sidewinder trail and Ridge Run – which, combined with the Promenade trails, takes Catamount guests on the Berkshire’s longest ski and snowboard run – 2 miles in all! And for advanced skiers and riders, there are wonderful challenges – including The Catamount Terrain Park(CTP) and Catapult, the steepest double-diamond trail in the Berkshires. Come visit us this winter! You’ll experience a wonderful ski area with great terrain and a staff fully committed to showing you a great time.

The Catamount Terrain Park(CTP) will have additional staff and it will feature several new rails and jumps for this season. The Meadowlark Adventure Park on Sunrise has a bordercross track 800' long. There's also a 400' halfpipe. The Junior Jib Park has "small" hits for less experienced freestylers looking to get some action before they head on over to the "medium" / "large" Catamount Terrain Park(CTP).
