Powder Mountain Terrain

Powder is known for 500 inches per year of top quality snow. The ski area actually covers three mountains covered with 144 runs. Powder has achieved a reputation for untracked powder because of the abundance of bowls, gladed trees, side and backcountry. Real snow also makes for beautifully groomed cruisers.

This is a fabulous place to learn to perfect your skills at skiing or riding powder. There is plenty of untracked powder on low angled slopes and plenty of widely spaced aspens and pines.

What's New This Season at Powder Mountain

Mountain Adventure Center
A new Mountain Adventure Center at resort center will house all of adventure programs including Snowcat Powder Safaris, Mountain Adventure Tours and the Snow Sports School. The ski shop will be expanded for increased storage to hold the new rental stock purchased and for the new tuning equipment. Powder Mountain is a Burton 'Learn to Ride Center'. Restaurants will be renovated to improve guest flow and to allow additional menu options. All changes are designed to minimize the time guests spend off the slopes on a powder day. All day guided snowcat tours, Snowcat Powder Safari, was so popular that the terrain has been increased to 2,000+ acres. To maintain our reputation for value, the shuttle service from Eden is now free and night lift passes have been rolled back to 2002 rates - $15.
