What's New This Season at Big White Ski Resort
| In the 2018/2019 season, Big White Ski Resort upgraded its Powder Chair lift with a brand new, $4-million four-passenger fixed grip Leitner Poma lift. This investment increased upload capacity to 2,400 passengers per hour – a 600 person increase from the previous one.
In the summer of 2019, the mountain invested $500,000 to enhance the trail to Westridge so that skiers and snowboarders could get to Gem Lake sooner in the season. This investment meant opening up Westridge runs with 30 to 40 cm less snow base than usual. |
