the snow was great, the resort is awesome the food is pretty good and the people are amazing

Had an amazing time at Big White over Spring Break with my son and family friends. Beautiful snow conditions, line ups moved quickly, friendly staff, lots of runs to choose from. Can't wait to go back.

This is a great ski area - when you can see it. Foggy conditions are common and limit visibility and the amount of the mountain that is really skiable on those days. A word of caution: obstacles and transitions are not well marked by ski patrol as they are at most ski areas state side. Apart from the visibility issues, it's a great area that is nicely designed and layed out complete with great snow and friendly people. It may be wise to avoid the multi day tickets, as they are only minimally discounted and with the foggy conditions, may end up being a waste of your money. Season passes are on the expensive side of average.

Awesome day at Big White the kids were so excited, they were so excited to get up on the hill they were almost crying, the conditions were awesome, and although all the lifts were not open it was great,, we are going back next week, the people were awesome, so friendly and helpful with families

Big white is a success in marketing. They get a lot of the nearby kelowna crowd and a lot of lifties from Australia and Newzeland. Most people I met on the slopes where there for long vacations from Enland, NZ etc.

Its a decent mountain. Around xmas time when I visited, the steeper hidden lake area was closed. The rest of the mountain is fairly intermediate to upper intermediate. Visibility can suck.. When the fog kicks in, upper mountain has almost 0 visibility. I was there on such a day and someone i was talking to said that was the best its been in a whol week

Pros: big, decent trees, Fast lifts

Cons: No terrain variety, Visibility.
