What's New This Season at Whitecap Mountains
Visitors this winter will find some rather dramatic terrain changes to parts of the south face of Thunderhead Mountain most commonly used by our snowboard riders. Families with younger children will find a number of improvements to Lech, our most popular winding beginner run, that make it even more fun for The Little People.
Most of the improvement investments this summer at Whitecap have been made in working to complete the second 9-hole segment of the Skye Golf Course. We expect to start the 2005 golf season with 17 holes open for play, and we expect to 18 holes open for play by August, 2005.
One new condominium unit is scheduled to be completed and ready to rent during the 2003-04 ski season, with two more planned for completion during the 2004 summer season. Now is the time, before this building boom really takes off, to look into buying a spot for your vacation home here at Whitecap.
