Whitecap Mountains Terrain

Whitecap offers a treat for every skill level somewhere in the 43 downhill trail network that spreads across three mountains nestled within the snow belt along the south shore of Lake Superior. If you're looking for snow in the Midwest this is where you find it -- more than 200 inches average each winter. Beginners of all ages will have more fun learning to ski or board using the Amazing Magic Carpet ride on our Bunny Bowl. Experts will find some of the Midwest's most extreme delights in the double-black diamond runs on the south face of Eagles Nest Mountain. And every skill level in between will find plenty to keep them busy at Whitecap. With nearly 500 acres to ride, skiers and boarders will quickly discover that long lift lines and congested trails are hard things to find here even on the weekends. Recent years have greatly improved the glade skiing terrain as well.
