Greatness in a word: acreage
Every ski resort in the midwest has vertical limited to a few hundred feet'. But Whitecap has 500 acres, 3 times the area that others have. It's more fun to explore. It's great for kids with very long green runs.

What's New This Season at Whitecap Mountains Ski & Golf Resort
Continued improvements to the slopes is an ongoing effort at the Whitecap Mountains. Enhancements and contour changes to the terrain to enhance your riding thrill and enjoyment is commonly completed during the summer months in preparation for the ski season. Especially for the glade skiers.
Summer visitors will enjoy 18 holes of golf on Whitecap's championship Skye Golf course at the resort. Open from Memorial Day through the autumn blazes of fall, Skye offers the most picturesque and challenging golf experience you've ever enjoyed in Northern Wisconsin! Golf & Stay packages available.
Bernie's Lounge upstairs in the Chalet was recently remodeled for expanded guest comfort.
