In addition to mountain skiing and riding the Ragged Mountain Recreation Area includes: the Jack WIlliams Toboggan Chute, home of the US National Toboggan Championships each Feb, a two-lane Tubing Hill, a Skating Rink on Hosmer Pond at the foot of the mountain, and a Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing loop.
