Good fun 12/02/2009 by: Anonymous very good when you hit it with some good snow, it can be a real blast! But not always, it can be really icy if you don't go after a big storm

Small but fun 11/02/2009 by: aj While this mountain does not measure up to it's bigger brothers in sunday river or sugarloaf, it makes up for it in a fun and friendly family oriented atmosphere. A stones throw away from Augusta, Waterville, and Belfast, this resort offers enough of a challenge for experienced skiers and riders, while maintaining a fun learning environment.

OK 03/04/2009 by: Cody This mountain is decent being where it is... in midcoast Maine. In an area that flat this place is great considering the closest ski mountains are 2 to 3 hours. It usually has pretty wet snow being right on the coast and costs a little too much for how small it is. This mountain does have some great views though. When it is fortunate enough to open the big T and Lookout opens that is the place to go. From the top of Lookout you can see straight to Camden harbor and the ocean which is something not many ski resorts can boast.

Great place ot go 02/01/2009 by: steve Of all the smaller ski areas I have been to this one is the best. Made my first visti to the Snow Bowl about 5 years ago and fell in love with right away. Located in the Camden Hills Region of Mid- Coast Maine this place is a true gem. Kind of a throw back to the by-gone days of skiing. Has a cozy A-frame lodge with parking right outsie the door. Has a chairlift that goes about 3/4 the way up the slope and the Big-T goes to the summit. There is no snowmaking off of the summit so the Big-T only opens after a there is a good base of natural snow on top. When ever I go I always wait till the T-bar is open as the best views of Penobscot Bay and the open Atlantic are off the summit. Has a nice mix of trails, nothing to steep but is well worth the visit
