Hunter Mountain Terrain
Hunter Mountain, Hunter West, and Hunter One peaks offer 58 trails spread over 240 acres of premium ski and snowboard terrain. Hunter Mountain boasts the only high-speed 6-passenger chairlift in New York State (the Kaatskill Flyer). The Flyer, Zephyr Express, 20th Century Limited, and Broadway Limited quad chairs, in conjunction with the six other lifts, speed skiers to three peaks of runs at the rate of 16,900 per hour, leaving more time for getting down to fun! With over 1,100 snowguns and a phenomenal snowmaking staff, there's never any reason to wonder about conditions. Hunter Mountain has you covered! What's New This Season at Hunter Mountain
NEW! Two carpet lifts added to our Terrain garden for the sole use of our children's programs. With this installation, we expect to enhance children's learning experiences by surrounding them with others their age and increasing their time on the snow. We have improved our world-renowned snowmaking by installing remote-controlled snow guns and new water pumps, thereby increasing the overall efficiency of our entire snowmaking system. We also added another Piston Bully to our impressive grooming fleet, enabling our team to continue creating the excellent conditions we are known for!Information last updated 01/08/2015.
