Catamount Terrain

Catamount has always been know for its terrain diversity. From super gentle to super steep there are 32 trails and terrain park areas in all. The Snowsports Learning area with a 300 foot Wonder Carpet lift is where kids and 1st timers start out. From there most guests proceed to the Meadows area serviced by a Triple chairlift providing access to a 10-trail complex of mostly green circle-easier terrain. The Meadows Area is a favorite of families. If you love the diamonds and cruisers, Catamount has them. There's Upper and Lower Alley Cat, Upper and Lower Glade and the moguled Off Stage. And then there's Catapult-Catamount's signature double diamond trail. It's the steepest trail in the Berkshires. There's the Sidewinder trail that's a mile-long blue square cruiser from the summit that keeps you coming back. The longest run is 2 miles from the summit of the Ridge Quad chairlift. If it is terrain parks you seek, we have 3 of them plus a 400' halfpipe and a bordercross run.
